Where the louvre system is motorised, the fault isn't always the motor. Actuators, wiring, limit settings, control boards and remotes all fail in ways that look identical from the outside — and on older systems, throwing parts at it gets expensive fast.

We diagnose the full drive system first. Where a motor or actuator has genuinely failed and the original is no longer supported, we fit compatible current units — across Somfy, Elero, Becker, Alpha, Nice, Linak and equivalents.

Many of these systems are older or no longer supported by their original supplier, which is exactly why diagnosis-before-replacement matters more here than anywhere else we work.

Yes — this is one of the most common situations we're called for. Several Sydney louvre suppliers and manufacturers have stopped trading over the years, leaving systems with no one to service them. We identify how the system was built, what has failed, and what can be repaired, adapted or replaced — regardless of who originally supplied it.

Can you get parts for a discontinued louvre system?

Often, but not always as original parts. Where original components are no longer available, we source compatible equivalents, adapt current hardware, or have components fabricated where that's practical. We tell you what's possible — and what it involves — before you commit to anything.

Do you repair both horizontal and vertical louvre panels?

Yes. We work on horizontal and vertically aligned aluminium louvre systems — sliding panels, hinged shutters, fixed screens and adjustable-blade systems — across balconies, facades, courtyards, pool areas and plant screening.

Our louvre blades won't open or close evenly. What causes that?

Usually a fault in the linkage — a broken or loose link bar, a worn control rod connection, or individual blade pivots that have seized while others still move. It can also be a bent blade binding against the frame. We diagnose which it is before replacing anything, because the fix is very different in each case.

Do you repair motorised louvre and privacy screen systems?

Yes. Where the louvre system is motorised, we diagnose and repair motor, actuator, wiring and control faults, and replace failed drives with compatible units where the original is no longer supported. We work across major motor brands including Somfy, Elero, Becker, Alpha, Nice and Linak.

A panel has dropped or the blades are rubbing on the frame. Is that repairable?

In most cases, yes. Dropped panels usually come back to worn hinges, failed rollers or fixings that have let go — all replaceable. Blades rubbing the frame point to alignment or a bent blade, which can often be corrected or replaced individually rather than replacing the whole panel.

Can you fix the lock or latch so the privacy panels secure properly again?

Yes. Locks, latches, drop bolts and keeper plates on privacy panels wear, corrode and drift out of alignment over time. We repair or replace the hardware and re-align the panel so it secures properly — important where the louvres are doing security or pool-area duty, not just privacy.
